I plan to become a producer when I get out of high school, does anyone know the path to get there?

I want to become a producer for either movies, television, Broadway, or all of these. The thing is idk how to get there. What should i do for college? I want to live in NYC and was looking at NYu's Tisch School of the arts? Any help/ideas?
