So in Bio we were talking about the energy chart in biology and i have a question?

producers recieve the purest form of energy from what i understand humans only get a portion of that so my question is what would happen if we were able to harness that energy that plants get toa human or animal would it be harmful or beneficial and is there any other organism that can do what the plant does
