Becoming A Professional Singer?

I've sung since I was younger and it's always been a dream of mine to become a mainstream artist. I just recently thought of taking this to a more serious level. I'm now taking singing lessons, but what's next from here? Do I meet with a producer and let them make tracks for me? I'm so confused on how to get this started. Does anyone have any advice or knows any producers??? My vocal coach says I have a very nice soft voice and raw talent. (By the way, I stay in the Dallas area and I'm a teenage girl)
