Why isnt he texting me?

okay so ive been friends with this guy for years but the last few months we've gotten closer and we would hang out in the library everyday 8th period together and he would give me rides home after that. then he asked me out to eat with his bestfriends girlfriend and his best friend. he paid. and then he asked me to a movie a few weeks later and he paid again and it was just us too and he asked me to go clubbing with him and one of his friends. we also hang out alot but he NEVER EVER texts me. He tells me he likes me though idk whenever im with him hes always texting but gets mad when i do. ive gave him crap about not ever texting me but he still doesnt get the hint! its so frustrating! not that i want him to text me all the time its just the thought that counts. oh we havent done much either.. im not a . weve kissed and last time we hung out he kind felt me up like everywhere hah sorry if thats tmi for you but yeah so i would really appreciate some help figureing this out thanks :)
