Younger woman and older man relationships?

I had a dream the other night , about a young girl around eighteen who meets this man, around fourty. They liked eachother almost immediately and became close friends, but then the man falls in love with her, and she realized her feelings as well. I woke up, and the dream made me think. When it is absolute, true love, and they are soul mates, does age matter? Would you enjoy a book or movie about that? Or is it creepy? Ha this is the weirdest question you'll get today, but I'm curious. Thanks (:
