The Hole, Joe dante release date?

iv'e been googling it for the past 7 months and i found out the release date for the UK wz the 17 of january, ive checked blockbuster, and a few other local stores and they haven't recived copys or even known about the movie. ik it might be one of those movies tht only appered in film festivels but i still wanna know if its been released in canada... or the usa, and perhaps if its avalible to watch online 4 free? or do i have to order it amazon or ebay? thx
